After running ‘A Wizards Words’ for 2 yars I have decided to retire it. I enjoy blogging, however I went into this blog viewing it as a personal blog and a seperate part of my overall website. However it never took off or shaped up how I expected so it’s time to move it into the archives and start on a new blogging project.
Keep a eye on The Wizard’s Sanctum Sanctorum for more updates.
I am proud to announce the birth of my first son, Stephen Michael the Second (and yes, I left the last name out). He was born on May 10th, 2013 at 4:17am (eastern time).
He was 7lbs 4oz and 20″ long.
We were able to bring him home on May 12th.
Steve had his first doctors appointment (outside of the hospital) May 15th.
A few weeks ago I picked up some Slooh ‘Mission Cards’. They allow you to use the Slooh telescopes for free. The pictures above I snapped of M51 Whirlpool Galaxy.
Over th last few weeks I have been looking into Urban Exploration (Urbex or UE for short) and have started a online news paper, The Journal of Urban Exploration, to cover the topic.
The Journal of Urban Exploration is published dayley by an automated system that finds Urbex articles around the net and reposts them here.
You can either subscribe to the paper (for free of course) and have it delivered to your email inbox every mornng or just follow me on Twitter
Well its been a few months sense I posted about the baby. The wife is now at 25 weeks.
For the most part everything is going well. We learned that it is a boy which helped us select a name (we are naming him after my dad).
We have had 1 untrasound (need to scan and post the pictures soon) and have heard the baby’s heart beat several times. Can also heel him kicking.
We had a bit of a scare yesterday. After waking up the wife joined me in my office. After a while she decided to get up and get some food. As soon as she stood up her blood sugar dropped and she took a header into a wall. Lucky I was able to grab her before she hit the floor. Got some food in her and shes feeling much better.
Only a few months left to go.
Hey everyone, just want to let every one know that I’m still here.
You may have noticed that there haven’t been a lot of updates to the website. I haven’t lost interest, but am working on refocusing the site. Regular visitors know that I do this every few years to keep the site fresh and to keep up with my current interests.
I have already moved some old projects to the archives.
